Today’s example is another from Serbia, representing the
name of Jovo Kursula of Cvetke, a club who might ply their trade some in the relative
obscurity of the country’s minor leagues yet are celebrated in the form of this
finely-designed crest/badge, the name rendered in Cyrillic across a gorgeously
opulent red, white & blue colour scheme, with a relief football embedded
within to further assert its objecthood.
The year of formation, 1970, perhaps
also hints somewhat at the object’s vintage – at least that’s what we’re liking
to think here.
