Continuing with the project & a drawing representing/re-mediating a
photographic image of Victor Esparrago, who was featured in both the FKS &
Panini World Cup ’74 sticker album collections, & subsequently selected as
a member of the Uruguay squad for the tournament, where he played in each of
his country’s three matches as they made a first round exit, slipping out
without making any memorable impression on my consciousness at the time of
exposure to the televised coverage of the finals.
