Nice Weather for Ducks..?

A view through a good old grid of fencing of a frozen-surfaced pond, encountered & captured during the course of the New Year's Day's morning constitutional: a fabulously skiddy landing strip for the ducks (note the slightly darker-toned vertical mark a little to the right of the topmost bird in the picture, freshly made from just such activity).
